CALLING ALL MOMS AND WOMEN WHO WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT

Hey guys! Almost a year has gone and my how time does fly.

I read a great blog post today about being HUNGRY when trying to lose weight. I want to address this issue is the coming weeks. Check out the article here and be sure to add this blog to your google reader. :) Great writers contribute.

In the weeks to come I am going to be adding a Youtube channel with some how to's and other fun things with weight loss/nutrition/dance exercise, etc. I have reason to refocus...keep reading.

Quick update on what I have been doing besides not blogging.

1st: Right after my last entry I booked the TV show "DANCE YOUR ASS OFF" on Oxygen. I was cast as a dancer/choreographer on the show. You can imagine how excited I was after being on such a health and nutrition kick and then getting to do a show that combines my two passions nutrition and dance.



Anyway, shooting that show took up my entire life for 4 months and the good news is, for those that didn't see the show, my partner Ruben took home the grand prize of $100,000. I was his dance partner/choreographer so it was great to be on the show all the way through the finale. He was the weight loss king and great dancer to boot. Very proud of him.

While I was on the show, I found out I was pregnant. So I danced for the first 9 weeks of my pregnancy on DYAO and the last 2 weeks I was SO sick with nausea, etc, it was a miracle I made it through. I also did the DYAO fitness DVD which is available for purchase onto Oxygen website.


Anyway, pregnancy has been rough. I tend to think that I have had the worst pregnancy in the world, but perhaps all women think that. Between puking and bed rest my activity level has been low and food intake in survival mode. I am down to my last 3 weeks before the baby is due and I am so excited to be a mom and to NOT be pregnant.

We also moved away from Los Angeles. Kind of sad but also excited to start a new chapter in life. True to prego form, I have put on 40 LBS!!!! Once the baby is here I am going to put myself on a nutrition/exercise plan and I am going to YOUTUBE it as well as supplement with posts on the blog. SO WHOEVER WANTS TO JOIN IN, LETS DO IT! The blog will be undergoing a few changes, but I will be better about keeping folks informed.

The next few weeks will be sporadic because we are moving and the baby could come any day, but once we get settled, more INFORMATIVE POSTS and less PERSONAL posts will drop on the blog.

I'm super stoked to watch/read/whatever your nutrion/exercise plan. I gained over 60 lbs. when I was pregnant and luckily have lost it all, but my stomach is a flimsy frisbee. Not cute. You are a superstar.

you are awesome! i loved EVERY Second of you on that show! you are amazing! and, as you know, pregnancy isn't soo great on me either.. as you know i gained 128 lbs with kayla (my first) and 75 each baby after that... this baby i started out 50 lbs over weight with the third child, and well i have gained about 40 so far, i have four months to go! Needless to say, i am DESPERATE for some workout and some eating right.. i CAN NOT WAIT! i love you sweetie! i can't wait to see the workout video. you were amazing.
AND NO! i can NOT Imagine diong that show when you were in early stages of pregnancy! i honestly can't do ANYTHING! for months! you are AMAZING! love you
